Good to see you again.
Let us introduce you with our lovebird, Poetry and Agno. Poetry is an entrepreneur and Agno is a doctor. They always wanted to have pre wedding photo session in Singapore, yes! Singapore! Every one knows this country because its beauty and cleanness. It was the first opportunity for me, the photographer, and the couple to have overseas pre wedding photo session.
It was in January 23 when we landed in Changi International Airport for the first time. After we finished with all the baggage, we were headed to Bugis , a place where we would stay during our pre wedding photo session in Singapore. Our first destination to take photo was Esplanade, some Indonesian call it as “Durian Building”. Esplanade is located next to Marina Bay Sands. This is the place for art exhibition and theatre. The architecture of this building makes the photo of Poetry and Agno look very elegant in a white flowered mini dress and black tuxedo.
The second destination was Garden Bay located in Marina Bay. It was not easy for us to find Garden Bay along our way from Esplanade because this is our first time. And as a bonus for our first time in Singapore, we got lost! We decided to take a rest for a while because it was pretty tiring to find Garden Bay. Well, it was our luck too when we saw a breath taking view of what-people-call-as-a Garden Bay as the back ground. The view of Singapore Flyer added the beauty of what we saw on that night. It was very beautiful to see Singapore in this way. No wonder, there are many couples visit Singapore to feel the moment like this or just to take photos in this place. This also answers the questions why pre wedding photo in Singapore looks very beautiful. We took some photos of Poetry and Agno in this place, after that we were headed to Bugis.
Second day of our photo session, we went to Little India, Botanical Garden, Reservoir Upper Seletar Reservoir Marina Bay Sands, the-finally-found-Garden Bay, and ended in Helix Bridge. We choose to go by rental car instead of MRT to save our time. Our friend, Ori, introduced us to Mr.Wong, the driver who will become our guide during our photo session on the second day. He is very helpful and friendly, I will recommend him if you want to go by rental car in Singapore.
My first impression of some people in Singapore was their unfriendliness. I was a little bit disappointed with their reaction when I asked the direction to Bugis Area. But, this changed when I was in Marina Bay to take some photos of the couple. Wanna hear the story?Well, I usually use a story board as a “pose guidance” to help the couple to pose in front of the camera. So, that’s what I did when I took photo of Poetry and Agno in Marina Bay. Unfortunately, when we turned the page of the story board to the next pose guidance, the papers flew away! This was because of the pretty strong wind. And then, suddenly, people around us tried to catch those papers. I can’t believe that they tried to help us. I thought they were very rough and unfriendly. But, they are not. It was very nice of them to help me catch all those papers of the story board so we can continue our photo session. I really appreciate your help, people!
And, this is the end of my photography note. I am still willing to explore other beautiful views of Singapore like Chimej, Henderson Wave, National Singapore Museum, well, you name it! My tongue still remembers the taste of 1 Dollar “Es Potong” Singapore and I will be very happy to feed my addiction to this “Es Potong” with you!
I’ll see you in the next project..
My special thanks go to you:
